Evelyn Dupuy has been living in the Netherlands for over ten years now, but in her music, Santiago de Cuba is never far away. She grew up there surrounded by salsa and Afro-Cuban rhythms and began singing at a young age. In the Netherlands, she found a new home for that musical heritage. The result is a sound in which the warmth of Cuba blends with Latin jazz and European influences.
